The Glaphyrinae (Coleoptera: Scarabaeidae) Pygopleurus rufovillescens undofi Keith, 2001 was named after the United Nations Disengagement Observer Force on Golan Hights (Syria Israel), as a UN soldier collected it at a Military Police checkpoint in-between the Syrian and Israeli cease-fire line.
